When we think in terms of years, decades, centuries, and eternity, the pains and turmoil of this life all become merely the scheduling for future award ceremonies... if we hold fast. The more difficult and confusing, the better! "But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him." (Heb. 11:6)
"Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise" (Heb. 10:35-36)
